Unique features and options expand functionality The rubber sheeting algorithm implemented in ADJUST very closely approximates the physical action of printing your map on rubber material and stretching it in any direction(s). ADJUST offers Programmable Elasticity. This unique feature changes the effect of the rubber sheeting algorithm in a way similar to changing the material used for your rubber map. Text Strings and Block Attributes can be processed by rubber sheeting BOTH ends or only the insertion point. This setting can also disable the rubber sheeting of Attributes independently of Block graphics. Hatch Blocks are recognized and completely processed, rubber sheeting all hatch elements. Entity fracturing can automatically
insert new vertices during the rubber sheeting process. If enabled, Lines and
Arcs are automatically converted to Polylines to accommodate the new
vertices. Read and Write Calibration
Sets ADJUST can process drawings in Batch using the AUTOADJ function and MapTools Commander. Stored calibration point sets are used instead of manual selection but all other features and setting are availble during batch processing. Best Fitting and/or Rubber sheeting of groups of drawings is possible with no user input. This is especially helpful for situations where groups of drawings are drawn relative to a basemap and the basemap need to be rubber sheeted to fit new calibration - (overlay rubber sheeting) |
